Sheep in Helmets china mug
£16.50
Our treasured and ever popular Sheep in Helmets mug has had a makeover!
Now using a classic ‘Windsor’ style bone China mug, one side features the original image, inspired by the pages of The Disorderly Knights where an army’s ranks are swelled by very woolly, and somewhat unruly, troops.
On the reverse is the perfect accompanying quote:
“And the English army, wheeling, started south at a gallop over the hill pass into Ettrick, followed by twenty men and eight hundred sheep in steel helmets.” (The Disorderly Knights, Dorothy Dunnett).
On the base of the mug you’ll find the Society’s logo and web address.
It will be posted in sturdy and secure individual box.
The mug’s dimensions are as follows:
Height: 10.5cm
Mug diameter: 7.5cm
Mug diameter (including handle): 11cm
