The DunNETt Lectures

Detail from a tapestry of a battle

The Dorothy Dunnett Society has organised a series of international online lectures since September 2024. Lectures will take place via our Zoom platform twice per year around February and September. This bridges the gaps between our three annual in-person events: the April Dunnett Weekend with Society AGM in Scotland, Dunnett Day in June, and International Dorothy Dunnett Day in November.

These online lectures are designed to fulfil the Society’s charitable aims – to educate the public concerning the history, politics, culture and religion of the centuries in which Dorothy Dunnett set her books, and to support the study of these subjects. We also hope to access hitherto untapped sources of academic brilliance in every continent. Please nominate possible future speakers from your own universities and colleges.
