It’s in the post! Whispering Gallery is the quarterly magazine published by the Dorothy Dunnett Society exclusively for Society members. In addition to updating members on the work of the Society and its volunteers, issues feature readers’ articles and ideas about Dunnett’s characters, and about the themes of the books, the culture of the time and the historical locations where action takes place. Professional historians contribute essays about their research into our period, and, with the permission of the Dunnett Estate, we trawl the vast amount of material in the Dunnett archive to present our writer’s unpublished talks, correspondence and research.
